Installation Kit

The installation kit for the modelling toolkit is self-contained and consists of

1. Required dependencies on operating system level to run the installer.
2. Database Installation files: the tool persists all data in a Microsoft SQL Server Database Instance. This instance is automatically installed (a download might be necessary depending on your operating system and version)
3. Modelling Toolkit: the modelling toolkit itself to interact with models

Download and Install Modeling Environment:

1. Download the  BD-DS Modelling Toolkit (BD-DS_ADOxx15.zip, ~387 MB)
2. Extract the package to a local folder of your choice (executing the setup from within the ZIP file might cause permission issues).
3. Run "setup.exe" from the root directory to install the tool. A installation wizard guides you throught the different steps.

Application Library for ADOxx

If you are using the ADOxx Meta Modeling Platform and are intested in further developing the current status, pleasedownload the application library file and import it into your ADOxx Development Toolkit. Feel free to add functionality to the library and modify to your needs. To participate in the community, please contact the tool owner to align implementation efforts.

Download and Import Application Library:

1. Download the  Application Library
2. Import the library into the ADOxx Development Toolkit. Watch this tutorial for instructions.
3. Create a new user for the library. Watch this tutorial for instructions.
4. Run the modeling tool and start to create conceptual models.
5. Run the development tool to start updating the implementation.
