Application and Fees

 

Summer School Package

The “Next Generation Enterprise Modelling” summer school comprises not only courses deadling with foundations, technologies, application domains and cross-cutting issues of Conceptual Modelling, but also lodging, boarding as well as a social program for participants.

The summer school package includes in the 600 Euro:

  • Registration fee;
  • Accomodation, breakfast and lunch for two weeks;
  • A two week program, where students will attend lectures in the morning and work on practical assigments in working groups each afternoon;
  • Use of campus facilities;
  • Handouts, case study books and other relevant teaching material;
  • A social event.

Application Procedure

To apply for admission students have to  complete the registration form (web form) and submit it electronically together with all required application material:

  • Recommendation letter

The letter has to be scanned and must be bearing the referees signature.  It should be written on official university letterhead paper by a person from your academic area, preferably a professor or lecturer. If the letter was not issued in English please attach also a certified copy.

  • Motivation letter

Applicants must provide a written statement of motivation (with a maximum length of one page).  The language of your motivation letter must be English.

  • Curriculum vitae (using the Europass CV Template, in English).

Application deadline is April 20, 2016. The complete application material must be submitted electronically via:

Students are strongly advised to apply as early as possible. Please note that applications will not be reviewed if not all materials have been received.

After April 27, 2016 selected applicants will be informed via e-mail. It is advised to check the e-mail account on a regular basis after the application.

Application Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled at an university either as Master or PhD-students. They are eligible at any point in their study programmes.

If selected applicants must attend for the whole duration of the summer school. They must take part in the lectures, participate in the working groups and are expected to have an adequate command of the English language.

Fees

Students from partner universities* are eligible for an EU grant. This will cover travel costs as shown on receipts, but not higher than 275,00 Euro and a subsidy for accomodation costs of 550,00 Euro. Means of transport must be used in a cost efficient manner, i.e economy class flight tickets, second class train tickets, buses and public means of transport, no taxis.

Students from partner universities can choose to participate in social events. The overall costs for these will be 300,00 Euro. A detailed list of the social events planned will be made available by April 2016.

Students from non-partner universities are required to pay for their own transportation costs. Accomodation, breakfast, lunch, participation at the summer school and the course materials as well as social events are covered by a registration fee of 600,00 Euro per student.

Details about payment will be made available in April 2016. Payment will be done from April 27 to June 15, 2016.
